Perth, Australia, November 23, 2005 -- GenAv Systems, located in Sidney, British Columbia, Canada, had already touched down in Australia – near Sydney actually!.Now, GenAv finds itself back in Australia with its newest Australian customer, The Aeroplane Company. Based at Jandakot Airport, Perth in Western Australia, with a Flight School operation at Esperance, the Aeroplane Company has boomeranged GenAv right back to Australia for its new QuickBooks integration through GenAv’s Flight Office - a total solution package for flight training schools.
The Aeroplane Company first opened its doors in 1997, carefully selecting highly motivated professionals with years of experience from many facets of the aviation industry including: tourism; military; domestic and international airlines; air traffic control; search and rescue; general aviation flight instruction and the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Students receive the very best of flight instruction and also benefit from the broad spectrum of aviation experience held by its instructors. This, combined with a varied fleet of aircraft, makes the training hard to beat. The expanse of the Aeroplane Company’s charter and aerial work operations have also resulted in a great resource to students seeking career advice and industry contacts. The Aeroplane Company incorporates GenAv Systems’ QuickBooks integration capability to enhance its flight office operations. GenAv announced its real-time integration between its Flight Office and the popular accounting system QuickBooks in February 2005. Industry favorite Flight Office, initially introduced by GenAv in November 2001, has been improved upon twice by GenAv. More powerful and versatile than ever, it then gained data export capability. Customers can now effortlessly, without data re-entry, export GenAv Flight Office information to QuickBooks and BusinessVision accounting systems, as well as to mainframe based accounting systems. The new export data capability permits easy transfer of order details (e.g. items, discounts, invoice information including instructor, flight times, etc.) and customer and payment information. Flight schools can use their favorite accounting packages while exporting information into QuickBooks/BusinessVision, thereby significantly reducing data entry time and minimizing data entry error potential.
The improved system retains all the original Flight Office benefits that ensure users an efficient flight training management operation. Real time integration adds a tighter, more efficient and more current operation. New integration benefits include: exporting of invoices to QuickBooks in real time; synchronization of QuickBooks’ customers and services (e.g. sales items) from and to Flight Office; data export of new customers from Flight Office to QuickBooks (flight training customers created in Flight Office will simultaneously be created in QuickBooks and vice versa); elimination of all manual data entry from flight logs into accounting systems; and, processing customer payment in real-time. Another benefit is once a flight event is completed by entering the Hobbs (VDO), TACH, and/or Air Switch Time in GenAv Flight Office, one can generate an invoice with the press of a button. The invoice and data will automatically be sent to QuickBooks, saving valuable data entry time and improving data integrity with one time data entry. Data updates can be done with each invoice creation or when choosing to update QuickBooks!
Bob Wootan, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of GenAv Systems Ltd, is elated to add The Aeroplane Company to GenAv’s growing list of international customers. When asked why the Aeroplane Company chose GenAv, Wootan responded, “One, we work hard on our marketing outreach. Two, we work hard to ensure a first-class product with winning customer service; and, lastly, through our products, work ethic and company philosophy, GenAv actively and conceptually supports the Aeroplane Company’s mission statement of being the most thorough and professional flight training organization in western Australia. This is why I believe GenAv is back in Australia. We are proud to be affiliated with an organization of the caliber of The Aeroplane Company.”
