Sidney, BC, September 26, 2003 -- GenAv Systems, having set the industry standard for
North American General Aviation booking systems, has raised its own high standards even higher! The industry may recall that GenAv launched its comprehensive GenAv Flight Office (GFO), a total solution package for flight training schools and charter operators, last January. GFO – received enthusiastically by flight schools – has just got even better! How? GenAv, a company committed to meeting its customers’ needs, listened closely to its
customers' product feedback and asked questions. The result? The most powerful and versatile GFO version ever – GenAv Flight Office, Version 2.0 (GFO-II). GFO-II will be showcased at the Air Transport Association of Canada (ATAC) Trade Show in Quebec City, November 2-4, 2003. The event provides the perfect industry cross-section for GFO II’s debut and allows potential users to personally experience the improved system. Delegates from all segments of the Canadian commercial aviation industry as well as numerous government agencies, manufacturers, and suppliers will participate in the show (for more information on the ATAC Trade Show, see
GFO-II’s enhancements of its original design include the ability to create multiple booking sheets based on the type of resource. For example, separate scheduling sheets can be created for single-engine aircraft, multi-engine, classrooms, simulators and instructors, and Part 135 pilots. The ability to drag and drop bookings instantaneously, track customer account balances, to flag customers whose accounts are in the red, and to support a credit card on file expiration alert are all new features. Another highly useful upgrade is the enhanced security checks for flight schools and fixed based operators.
The improved system, of course, still retains all the benefits that original GFO users have grown to depend on for an efficient flight office management operation. These benefits include systematically and transparently checking pilot medical and rating status at reservation and dispatch times; tracking inactive customer accounts; a single data-entry system that results in time and money savings; and the ability to add optional components for internet access, aircraft maintenance tracking, and invoicing.
Bob Wootan, Director of Sales for GenAv Systems, appreciates the enthusiastic endorsement the original GFO system has received but expects GFO-II to meet with even greater applause. "While GFO greatly simplified operations, especially those that were cumbersome to track and manage, GFO-II takes efficiency to a higher level – one that more completely meets the customer’s needs. I’ve always said that the bottom line is that GFO works. Well, GFO-II works harder, so that the customer doesn’t! GFO-II brings high tech to businesses and makes those high tech procedures easy with it ability to interface safety and security with efficient and effective business operations, GFO-II is truly the system for today’s progressive flight training schools and FBOs.
