Sidney, BC, January 7, 2004 -- GenAv Systems, Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert (Bob) E. Wootan as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Wootan, a native of California, is a dynamic aviation professional with impressive credentials. He began accumulating his in-depth industry knowledge right out of high school working for the Northrop Corporation as an assembly technician on the Apollo Lunar Lander for NASA. While in the U. S. Navy, Bob received extensive computer training and worked on board Polaris Submarines. He had a stellar three and a half years with IBM and hit the rank of top IBM Canada salesperson, all divisions. He had another four phenomenal years selling data modeling tools to the systems architects of major U.S. corporations such as Apple, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Charles Schwab. With a solid gold sales background, Bob went on to sell financial systems with an Oracle back-end to local government in the U.S. and Canada. It’s clear why GenAv is sold on Bob!

Bob, an avid motorcyclist and a seasoned outdoorsman, loves to travel. However, his true affinity is with aviation. Bob is very close to getting his private pilot’s license and for one short 400 nautical mile flight, was a CRJ700 pilot!

Bob coordinated the company’s January relocation to its current offices in the Shell Aerocentre Executive Terminal at the Victoria International Airport in Sidney and has since been busy promoting GenAv Systems to potential clients. “His experience in total innovative system solutions facilitates the customer’s understanding of what we can do for them,” says Stephane Way, President of GenAv Systems. “Not only is Bob bringing us greater industry visibility, he’s also been key in our unprecedented growth in sales.
